2Point Solutions (2Point) a private company whose primary purpose is managing all aspects of growing brands’ Marketing, Design & Media departments. 2Points’ Designers & Marketing Team work together to create a consistent look and unique content companies across all digital media platforms. 2Points clients range from catering companies to industrial manufacturing.

 

Overview:

MMS provides information technology services to 2Point Solutions Inc.  Here are some examples of services we have provided for approximately 160 customers in the following areas:

  1. Project Management
  2. General Website Support
  3. Server Security Analysis
  4. Server Management/SLA Analysis

 

 

Project Management: Milli Micro Systems provides Project management Support Services to 2Point Solutions as needed for Technology Projects using SDLC  – Planning, Analysis, Design, Implementation and Support. Examples of Projects include marketing campaigns for visibility on the web including brand awareness for Medical, Pharmaceutical, Health Supplements, Insurance industry and other service industry clients.

 

General Website Support:  Milli Micro Systems provides website and email support to 2Point Solutions customers.

  1. Creating tickets for website updates. MMS provides the support needed to manage all of the website changes, additions and updates for all 2Point Solutions client sites.  Any client update is done within 24-28 hours of first receipt into the support ticket system.
  2. MMS implemented a system to identify coding errors on client sites by creating automated scripts and using debugging tools. This system saved the developers countless hours when they upgraded the code on client sites to current best practices.
  3. MMS provides email support to client with integration onto new networks and new devices. In addition, MMS also has helped 2Point clients whose emails have been blacklisted. All support changes are made within 24-48 hours from first receipt of an email or a phone call.
  4. MMS was integral in convincing the client to have a 24 hour phone number for issues and problems so the end has an outlet to discuss any problem at any time of the day.

 

 

Server Security Analysis: Milli Micro Systems provided support to the client for server security analysis.

  1. MMS was brought in to analyze problem with security vulnerabilities within a Microsoft Server. Within less than 3 days, MMS concluded that that the server had been compromised and it was necessary to take action to secure the server.
  2. MMS formulated a disaster recovery plan which integrated best practices to secure the server while keeping the websites up for customers.
  3. MMS identified the virus and removed it while they did not lose any of the client data. During this time, MMS also carefully took full backups of all client sites and instituted a plan to migrate all of the client sites to a new server once the security vulnerability had been identified and mitigated.
  4. MMS server maintenance included server script updates, control panel upgrades, RAM & HDD upgrades as well system software updates to enhance the security on the server for the customer websites.
  5. MMS ensured the customer’s server was managed and running as intended. The Client’s server was under constant watch ensuring there was no malware in the environment that would pose a threat to the data. If any malware was detected it was immediately removed from the network before the malware could place an attack.

 

Server Management/Sla Analysis: Milli Micro Systems provided support to the client for deciphering the SLA with their server hosting company.

  1. MMS reviewed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for the data center and performed due diligence for 2Point Solutions with service providers to correct breaches as it pertained to their standard of care.
  2. MMS worked with service provider customer service representatives and cage techs which resulted in securing additional services for no extra cost and also reducing 2Point’s overall exposure to technical failures as well as internet security breaches. This also shifting the liability from 2Point Solutions which resulted in cost savings for additional server security members.
  3. MMS identified multiple instances of negligence on behalf of the client which resulted in thousands of dollars in payment for multiple problems in which the SLA standards were not being used by the server management company.
  4. MMS analyzed and audited new environment for server specifications and functionality and supported the upgrade to a safer and more robust infrastructure to reduce the risk of downtime for 2Point Solution’s clients.
  5. MMS provided web-scalable cloud computing (EC2) for 2Point Solutions by using Amazon Web Services. MMS managed the process of each instance installation and maintenance thereafter. EC2 provided complete control of the computing environment and allowed for full configure capacity.
